Advocating For OneTab - From The Perspective of a OneTab Insider

Why I Work for SurfaceScience Promoting OneTab

I have been familiar with SurfaceScience and its parent company GardGroup for many years. In fact, I met the owner, Don and his team while working in sales for a business that provided an outside service for them. Over the time spent servicing their account I got to know more about SurfaceScience and their goals of providing cutting edge surface protection and cleaning products to their customers. While they started in the automotive industry SurfaceScience has also reached other channels such as graffiti removal, odour neutralizers and unique mopping systems just to mention a few.

In 2018 when Don started showing me these cool little coloured tablets that you mix with water to make cleaning products it caught my attention (mostly because I am one of those weirdo’s who likes cleaning). Here and there he would give me additional tablets to try. I first received a blue tablet meant to make glass cleaner, another time a pink one meant for the bathroom, and while I liked the idea and the product, I never gave it much thought beyond trying out something in order to provide feedback for my friend.

Fast forward a year later to the fall of 2019, Don calls me up and asks me to lunch. We are chatting away as usual and he has a big brown envelope with him, out of the envelope he pulls out a handful of bright coloured cards in the shapes of bottles. No liquid or plastic bottles to be seen (other than the picture on the card) just the little tablets I am now familiar with. The difference is they are no longer unlabeled little tablets they are a finished and branded product called OneTab.

While I had been busily working away at life and using these little tablets in my home - my friend has gone and turned them into a whole line of products! OneTab was now ready to be released to the public and Don asked me to apply for the position of Business Development/Account Manager of OneTab. I have been doing outside sales of a service for 15 years and was looking for a change, a new challenge and an opportunity for growth, OneTab was a perfect fit for me.

As I mentioned, I love to clean, and I need to feel passionate about what I am providing to customers. I need to work in an industry I care about, with products I believe in. OneTab fits all my professional and personal check list. It is an environmentally friendly cleaning line with a focus on reducing the amount of plastic going into our world – AND IT WORKS! I know I can recommend OneTabs to a friend and feel confident when I tell them that they should give it a try and I’ll feel good knowing that what they are using in their homes is safe & eco-friendly – and that is important to me. I am happy to be part of the team that is making OneTab a household name, it really is the Smarter, Greener, Cleaner.
